Aberdeen is on the southwest portion of Hong Kong island, it's mostly residential but every residential area has a major mall, it won't be selling Gucci or Prada but you can find almost everything you'd need to.
One thing about Aberdeen that makes it a pretty big draw for tourists is the harbour, the majority of the private fishing boats are in the harbour, at one points 6000 people lived on the water but now most have moved inland.
I honestly can't think of much to say, I'm sure that I'll be able to tell stories when people ask but I'm horrible at writing stuff off the top of my head.

Ok everyone, I'm finally back, sorry for the wait but I was on the mainland over the weekend and I had no internet access.
Now I would like all of you to understand how difficult it is going to be for me to tell you all about Hong Kong, because there is so much here spread out over the city that It'll be impossible to cover it all in one or two posts. Therefore I have decided to post on Hong Kong district by district.
Since this is the beginning I might as well start with the district that I spend the most of my time, Aberdeen.

South Korea
Hola everyone
I suppose I should start at the beginning of my trip, our flight left Edmonton 640am saturday and landed in Seattle at 740am. 6 hours later we take off and 11 hours later we land in Incheon.
That's right, the Int'l airport isn't even in Seoul, it's an hour west of the city, but it's the newer aiport and I was too tired to complain.
The hotel we were staying in was nice, a best western so that was to be expected but it was rather small, and with only 8 people in our tour it was actually quite nice.
It's a shame really the I didn't enjoy Seoul as muich as I should have but my body was having some troubles adjusting so I was tired and didn't eat a whole lot, actually I'm still not eating a whole lot but I'm sort of thankful because I bought 2 pairs of jeans but they're too tight so hopefully I'll slim down a fair bit, because the stuff I've bought so far looks damn good.
There were only two things about Korea that truly deserve mentioning, making Kimchi at the Kimchi school (that's right, there's a school for that), and visiting the Korean Folk Museum which is right beside the old Feudal palace complex, which was absolutely amazing, I took as many photos as I could on my phone but they won't do it justice.
Next time I'll start on Hong Kong, but it'll take more than one post to cover that.

Trip Intro
Hola everyone, Errol here and yes, once again I have beaten the odds and I am still alive so for those of you who wagered with me (you know who you are), you have lost.
Well to begin I should appologise to everyone in my family who has read some of my blog and found it rather profane, when I started this site I was in high school and I used it to express my misguided teen angst, which changed to niave college political rage, to where I am now with utter apathy towards the world.
Now I'm not going to do as Graeme suggested and keep this for family and move my other content to a new site because I really have nothing to hide or be ashamed of on this site that I can recall, I just have a very dirty mouth.
Now that all that is out of the way I guess I should start telling people about my trip, but unfortunately I've run out of time because Ivan and I have to meet an old friend of his for lunch at 1 so next time I'll tell you all about Seoul.
adios everyone

Too Long
Well shit son, it has been a fucking long time since I last posted and I don't really have a great excuse so I'm just going to move on like nothing happened.
Well now, what has happened in my life since I last posted.........I'm still working at earls, but I run shit now so things are going pretty well on that front.
I leave for Hong Kong next saturday, I'll be gone for a month so that should be pretty fucking cool.
I got my own place, really nice apartment right by londonderry mall, and not too far from work, and it's close to the LRT so i'm pretty close to wherever I need to go.
I'm gonig to be an unlce any day now, my brother and sister-in-law will soon be parents and that freaks me right the fuck out, but at the same time it's going to be really cool.
I will try to update more often from now on, especiialy when i'm gone so that people know that I'm not dead or in some backwater Chinese prison somewhere and I'll probably be using this as a dump for all the photos I take.
Hopefully I'll be back soon
Adios

Well damn, it's been too long long since my last post.
How about we play a little catch-up shall we? All right.....what's new in my life........ah yes.
Well this week I started my new job, so no more Quizno's, thank god for that, now I wok in the kitchen at earl's on 50th street, it's nice and close, more money, room for advancement, absolutely stunning girls, the finer things in life.
I've decided that I'm not going back to school in the fall, I'm going to work and ave up enough and then I'm moving to the UK, but only for a time, the work visa I'll be applying for is only 2 years, but after it expires I plan on doing a fair bit of travelling so i'll probably be gone for 3 years, give or take a few months.
Well, seeing as how the trend is going, it'll probably be another couple months before I feel like posting again

Word
你好!!!!!! (what up bitches)

Now I know it's been a while but to be honest I haven't really had anything to say to any of you, if you don't like that then you can toss my salad.
Moving on..........ah yes......current events..........
Let me see, Conservative minority..........this doesn't bode well, however the silver lining to this dark blue cloud is that this minority is even weaker than the last minority so it won't last that long unless they liberalize their policies but that would in turn drive away the more radical members of the party thus weakening them further. So all in all I'm not that worried, a little pissed off but not that worried.
Ehhh.........midterms.........2 down, 2 to go.........yay........I guess....................
Ah yes, my good friend Cody is moving to Calgary to manage the Yuk Yuk's, so that's a nice step up in the world for him........ what else.......what else...........I have a new roommate, Cam got his own place much closer to the JP campus so he has been replaced by a guy from Regina....I think his name's Jeremy.....not sure though.........oh well
